The American Caramel Baseball Cards Set from 1909 (E90-1) were produced by the American Caramel Company in Philadelphia, PA. Each card is sized at 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 and have color renderings of photographs. The cards have the players name, position, and team that is located in the white border area of the bottom of the card.
Multiple Series
This is the first series of three. This 1909 E90-1 series is the largest of the 3 which included all Major League Baseball Teams and has 118 cards included. The reverse is printed in black ink and reads “100 subjects”. These cards were originally issued with sticks of caramel candy.
