Philadelphia Caramel Cards from 1909 (E95)

The Philadelphia Caramel Baseball Card set was produced in 1909 in Camden, New Jersey. Each card is a full color rendering of the player. The cards are sized at 1-1/2 x 2-5/8 with minor variances for inaccurate cutting from the factory.

There are a total of 55 cards in this Philadelphia Caramel set to collect.

The 1910 E96 cards have a total of 30 cards making the complete set of 55 cards. We have found that this is a very collectible set for 2 reasons: For example, the first year has only 25 cards so you can find about 75% of the set with little difficulty as they are readily available. Secondly; most of the players in this set are well known so it is a fun for many collectors. Hall of Famer’s Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, and Eddie Plank are the highlights of the set.
