The 1950 Bowman Baseball Cards Set has 252 cards and are a very attractive set for collectors. The cards measure 2-1/16 x 2-1/2 with a heavier cards stock that future years. Mel Parnell Rookie Card

Card # 1 of the set is Mel Parnell’s Rookie Card. Mel was a left handed pitcher for the Boston Red Sox for 10 years. In 1949, he had an amazing 25 wins. Fun Fact: It is extremely difficult to get this card in good condition. We have been involved in multiple sales of this set and each time the Parnell card has damage to it.
